Master Program Admissions - Physical Therapy


Dear Applicant:

Thank you for your interest in the Physical Therapy Program at Youngstown State University. We offer a three-year entry-level master's degree program. The program grants a post-baccalaureate Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree upon completion of the graduate program. The graduate program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. Approximately 20 students are admitted each summer term. Our faculty are well-respected clinicians and educators and our facilities are furnished with "state-of-the-art" equipment.

After reading the admission requirements, if you feel qualified to apply to the professional program, please contact the Office of Graduate Studies (330) 941-3091 or the Department of Physical Therapy to request an application packet. Please call the Department of Physical Therapy at (330) 941-2558 with any specific professional program questions or to schedule a visit. You may also call (330) 941-1820 to schedule an appointment with one of the College of Heath and Human Services advisors to discuss undergraduate degree options.
