FOR
A consortium
agreement should be completed if you will be taking classes at YSU and another
accredited college or university simultaneously or if you are taking only community
college classes during a particular semester.
A copy of your registration at your community college must accompany the
consortium agreement when it is submitted to the YSU financial aid office. The cost of attendance for your community
college and YSU are added together to determine your aid eligibility. You should submit a consortium agreement and
current community college schedule each semester.
Once aid eligibility
has been determined, any scholarships awarded by YSU will reduce your YSU bill
accordingly. Loan money would go to YSU
and be used to pay your YSU bill. Any
remaining loan money is refunded to you and it is your responsibility to pay your
community college bill.
When filling out
YSU’s consortium agreement:
--You are a degree seeking student at
YSU.
--You are a transient at your
community college.
--The parent institution is YSU.
--The visited institution is your
community college.
